Solution Architect
We are seeking a Solutions Architect to drive successful ERP integrations for our customers, with a primary focus on ensuring seamless onboarding and configuration of accounting system integrations. This is a solutions consultant role that requires accounting knowledge and ERP expertise rather than technical implementation skills. With over 20% of our customers onboarding to accounting integrations and anticipated growth following our new ERP integration launches, this is a high-priority role critical to our customer success. The successful candidate will serve as the subject matter expert for ERP integrations, working closely with customers to understand their accounting requirements, configure integrations appropriately, and prevent misconfigurations that could impact their financial workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Integration Consulting: Guide customers through the ERP integration onboarding process, ensuring proper configuration and setup aligned with their accounting requirements
- ERP Expertise & Advisory: Provide expert consultation on NetSuite and other supported ERP systems, leveraging deep product knowledge to optimize customer implementations
- Market-Specific Accounting Guidance: Apply knowledge of regional accounting specificities (particularly FR and DE markets) to fast-track customer onboarding.
- Configuration & Setup: Ensure accurate configuration of accounting integrations to prevent errors and optimize customer workflows
- Partner Collaboration: Work with external partners and specialists for complex cases requiring specialized expertise in specific ERP tools
- New business Sales team: Consult on custom integration discussions with prospect to ensure seamless alignment between Spendesk and the customer’s existing accounting systems, proactively addressing technical requirements and potential challenges to accelerate deal closure and support long-term customer success.
- Customer Success: Drive successful integration outcomes, reducing time-to-value and increasing customer satisfaction with accounting system connection
- Knowledge Transfer: Document best practices and common configuration scenarios to support scalable customer onboarding
What we're looking for
- Deep accounting knowledge in one or more of our core markets (France, Germany, UK), with understanding of regional accounting specificities and compliance requirements
- NetSuite Experience: Extensive hands-on experience with NetSuite, including configuration, customisation, and best practices (priority requirement)
- ERP System Knowledge: Proven experience working with enterprise accounting tools and ERP systems, with preference for experience in:
- Customer-Facing Experience: Demonstrated experience in customer consulting or solutions roles, with ability to understand business requirements and translate them into system configurations
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot integration challenges and provide effective solutions
- Business Central / Sage Intacct
- DATEV
- Sage 100 / ACD
- Xero / Odoo / Exact Online
- Solutions Consulting: Ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored recommendations without requiring technical implementation skills
- Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively guide customers through complex integration processes
- Regional Market Knowledge: Understanding of accounting practices and regulatory requirements in European markets, particularly France and Germany
- Customer Relationship Management: Proven ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships with enterprise customers
- Process Optimisation: Experience in streamlining onboarding processes and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners to deliver comprehensive solutions
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving integration requirements and new ERP system additions
- Documentation Skills: Ability to create clear, comprehensive documentation for integration processes and best practices
