KYC Analyst
Job Summary
As a KYC Analyst, you will daily execute operational KYC processes while maintaining compliance with regulations and adherence to SLAs. Responsibilities include onboard new clients, perform periodic reviews, update and remediate existing KYCs. You will be daily in contact with business teams, compliance and other operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations
Process new onboarding client KYC.
Conduct periodic reviews and update customer records, escalating suspicious or complex cases
Remediate potential customer data gap
Perform KYC ticketing support
KYC Knowledge Sharing
Assess and manage customer-related risks by implementing rigorous KYC controls. Recommend corrective actions or mitigations for identified risks.
Take responsibility for updating operating processes as needed. Address knowledge gaps within the team through targeted training, support, and the onboarding of new team members.
Share KYC knowledge with other teams, particularly the Go-to-Market team, to foster alignment and understanding across the organization, and to streamline collaboration and operations.
What you need to succeed
Experience and Background
2-3 years of experience in KYC/KYB operations, compliance, or banking back-office
KYB (business onboarding) is mandatory
Ideally previous experience in Fintech
Certifications such as CAMS or equivalent is a plus
Core Competencies
Knowledge of KYC/AML-FT regulations and evolving compliance requirements
Rigour and process-oriented approach with attention to detail
Customer-centric mindset while maintaining regulatory compliance
Problem-solving skills with ability to escalate appropriately
Excellent organization to manage multiple different cases and meet SLAs
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing stress, and prioritizing competing cases.
Communication
Fluent in English, French or Spanish is a plus
Strong written and oral communication
